Wamiqa Gabbi

Wamiqa Gabbi (born September 29, 1993) is an Indian actress who works across Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. After uncredited and supporting appearances in films such as *Jab We Met* (2007) and *Bittoo Boss* (2012), she made her debut in a leading role with the Hindi teen drama *Sixteen* (2013). That same year, she entered Punjabi cinema with the comedy *Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22* (2013). Gabbi subsequently expanded into South Indian cinema, making her Telugu debut in the crime comedy *Bhale Manchi Roju* (2015), her Tamil debut in the romantic drama *Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam* (2016), and her Malayalam debut in the sports drama *Godha* (2017). Alongside her regional film work, which included the Punjabi features *Nikka Zaildar 2* (2017), *Parahuna* (2018), and *Kali Jotta* (2023), she appeared in the sports drama *83* (2021). She achieved wider mainstream prominence through streaming productions, starring in the series *Grahan* (2021), *Mai: A Mother's Rage* (2022), the period drama *Jubilee* (2023), and the mystery miniseries *Charlie Chopra & the Mystery of Solang Valley* (2023), alongside the spy thriller film *Khufiya* (2023). Her later releases include the action thriller *Baby John* (2024), the comedy *Bhool Chuk Maaf* (2025), *Bhooth Bangla* (2026), and *Jailer 2* (2026).
