Season 1

Afghan gathers the courage to ask his mother, Pak Karman’s younger sister, to seek Zulfa’s hand in marriage on his behalf. However, his proposal is rejected.

Afghan leaves the village and moves to Kuala Lumpur to earn enough money for a wedding dowry.

After becoming engaged, Zulfa sees Jamali’s true nature. When she tries to end it, Jamali frames Afghan for theft and rushes the wedding, prompting Zulfa to flee with Afghan.

Zulfa and Afghan run away together. At the same time, Pak Karman begins to question whether he made the right decision, while Jamali is willing to do whatever it takes to make Zulfa his wife.

Zulfa returns to Jamali’s house and is shocked to discover that she is actually his second wife and is expected to live as a servant in the household.

Zulfa suffers physical and emotional abuse in Jamali’s house, but she continues to endure it while searching for the best way to escape from the household.

Zulfa’s attempt to escape fails, and Jamali locks her up, earning Faziah’s sympathy. However, Jamali remains determined to break Zulfa’s resistance and force her to submit as his wife.

Traumatized by Jamali’s actions, Zulfa falls into depression. Faziah struggles with guilt, while Afghan retreats into a fantasy where Zulfa is still by his side.

Zulfa is determined to work with Faziah to bring Jamali down. However, her attempt to escape Jamali’s abuse ends in tragedy when an accident nearly costs Jamali his life.

Jamali continues to influence the children to take his side, while Faziah and Zulfa work on repairing their relationship. At the same time, Zulfa looks for an opportunity to expose Jamali’s true nature.

Under pressure from Chandru, Jamali leaves the children with Faziah. When Zulfa seizes a chance to meet Afghan, Jamali snaps and brutally cuts off her hair.

Jamali is increasingly pressured to settle his debt and threatens to kill Faziah. Zulfa fights back, leaving Jamali half-dead.

Jamali flies into a rage upon discovering Zulfa is missing. He orders his henchmen to hunt her down and threatens Pak Karman's family back in the village.

Exhausted and on the run in the city, Zulfa unexpectedly crosses paths with Afghan, but their encounter is filled with awkwardness and deep misunderstandings.

Afghan harbors resentment, assuming Zulfa chose Jamali for his wealth. Out of shame, Zulfa cannot bring herself to tell him the painful truth.

Jamali successfully tracks down Zulfa's initial hiding spot. His sudden arrival nearly costs the lives of those trying to protect her.

The truth behind the past theft setup (from Episode 3) is finally revealed to Afghan, making him realize the heavy sacrifices Zulfa made for him.

Afghan vows to protect Zulfa at all costs, helping her find legal aid to file for an annulment (fasakh) in court.

Jamali aggressively attacks Zulfa's new hideout, but this time, Zulfa stands her ground and fiercely fights back against his oppression.

Faziah takes a drastic step by filing for divorce and exposing all of Jamali's financial fraud and illegal scams to the authorities.

Jamali's corporate empire and public reputation collapse completely, driving him into severe emotional instability and desperation.

Obsessed with reclaiming Zulfa, Jamali plots a dangerous final scheme to kidnap Zulfa and permanently eliminate Afghan.

Jamali's kidnapping plot fails when the police intervene. Chaos erupts as old dark secrets regarding a past death in Jamali's family are officially reopened for investigation.

Jamali is brought to justice, facing criminal charges for harassment, domestic abuse, and corporate fraud, leading to his formal arrest.

Jamali's psychological state breaks down completely in detention. He suffers from hallucinations and endless regret for the tyranny inflicted upon his wives.

Zulfa finally attains her absolute freedom and the emotional closure she long prayed for. The story concludes with Zulfa and Afghan choosing to heal together and rebuild a new life rooted in true happiness.
