Season 38

A British children's book author comes to Springfield to give a talk at Springfield Elementary School. Homer is tasked with picking her up from the airport, but things go bad from there.

Bart and Lisa adopt an abandoned baby chimp and clash over their surprisingly different parenting styles. When the chimp is abducted by a private wild animal zoo, the family goes on a mission to rescue him. Homer is conflicted about saving the ape, because he's convinced the chimp will tear off his face and groin.

All hell breaks loose on Halloween when a killer comes to Springfield and hacks their way through town. No Simpson is safe from... THE REVENGENING!

In this year's extra-scary, ultra-spooky Treehouse of Horror, Marge gets a horrifying new perspective on marriage; Bart and Santa's Little Helper embark on a bone-chilling adventure; and Homer takes a driving lesson.

In what she argues is not an attempt to get extra time on tests, Lisa has herself evaluated for three types of neurodiversity... which remind her of behaviors she's witnessed in Principal Skinner, Comic Book Guy, and Homer. Perhaps these atypical behaviors aren't as atypical as we think.

Bart and Lisa break into Krustyland's most notorious failed attraction, only to discover that it hasn't been completely abandoned.

When Moe has trouble sleeping, he enrolls in a brand-new sleep study that gives him the greatest romantic comedy dreams of his life. But unbeknownst to him, his beautiful fantasy comes at a nightmarish price.
